LILA LIPSCOMB
Sooner or Later, You'll Be Here Too

Suddenly everyone's coming to Philadelphia. First we hear former President Bill Clinton will campaign here for Sens. John F. Kerry and John Edwards next week, and then we learn Lila Lipscomb, the Flint, Mich., "military mom" from "Fahrenheit 9/11" will be in the area this weekend. I'm telling you, Philadelphia is hot.

Mrs. Lipscomb, the mother of an Iraqi war casualty, headlines a program sponsored by U.S. Tour of Duty: Americans Speak Out.

The panel discussion will be held Sunday, October 24, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at The Point, 880 W. Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr, Pa. Tickets: $10.00 suggested donation, available in advance at (610) 527-0988 or at the door the day of the event.

Also scheduled to appear at the forum are: Amb. Edward L. Peck, former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq; Michael Hoffman, former deputy director White House Task Force on Terrorism, and a Marine Corps veteran and co-founder of Iraq Veterans Against the War, and comedian Paul Lyons.
