Kids for Kerry
The results are in from Nickleodeon's "Nag the Vote" project. (Via TBogg.) [Post-publication insertion: Letter From Gotham also was all over this before me.]

About That Career
I like stay-at-home moms. My mother was a stay-at-home mom, and judging from the fruits of her labor, she did very well, unlike a certain librarian and teacher we know. (Link via TBogg.) But let's not go into a snotty snit about Laura Bush's now suddenly vaunted career. It ended 27 years ago.

DeLay's Day in Court
It's coming. Rep. Tom DeLay, the Texas Republican currently serving as the majority leader of the House of Representatives, too close to the presidency for my taste what with the ongoing war on terror and all, has been served with a subpoena.

Missing Meetings
Paul H. Nitze has passed away. A shame. He didn't even get to sign up with the latest incarnation of the Committee on the Present Danger, CPD III. That was his kind of thing, his big thing, you know.

Jon Stewart
Susie Madrak wants to be Teresa Heinz Kerry when she grows up. I'd take that, even without the money. (And what a great First Lady she will be. She trumps the Xanax Xombie any day.) But I would rather be Jon Stewart. I mean, he's a man. (Don't miss Susie's Florida blogging today.)
