BOOING PAUL WOLFOWITZ

There was only a moment of disharmony at yesterday's pro-Israel, pro-Sharon, pro-war rally in Washington, D.C.

The Philadelphia Inquirer, under the heading "One discordant note," reports: "The peaceful and generally upbeat event turned boisterous only once, when some of the demonstrators drowned out a speech by Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz." [Ed.: Emphasis added.]

Wolfowitz's transgression? Having the audacity to point out that in the current conflict Israeli Jews are not the only victims, that "innocent Palestinians are suffering and dying as well."

"In response, many in the crowd booed and chanted, 'No more Arafat.'"

Lovely.
