NO MORE CALLS
We Have a Winner!

We have a winner in yesterday’s Contest of the Day, "Name the Sybil of Blogging."

The first winning entry came from David Margolies of, well, I don't know where since he didn't say, modest fellow that he no doubt is.

The correct answer to the question, "Who Said This?: 'Certainly the [Bush] administration has now done a lot to give a direct one-word message to its gay supporters: suckers'" is, naturally, albeit bewilderingly, Andrew Sullivan.

You can see for yourself over at Sullivan's blog in an entry dated June 7 entitled "Bush Versus Gays."

Honorable mention to the anonymous entrant who guessed Norah Vincent.

[Post-publication addendum (June 11): On this matter, see also the inimitable Julia of Sisyphus Shrugged.]
