Another Case for Will
More than 10 years ago, when the news first broke that “one of the Kennedys” would soon be arrested on charges of rape, a colleague blurted out: “I’ll bet it’s Will.” “Will? There’s a Kennedy named Will?” I asked. I won’t tell you how she knew, or how she thought she knew, but we soon learned it was in fact Will, or William Kennedy Smith. He’s in trouble again, accused in a civil lawsuit of sexually assaulting a Chicago woman five years ago.

Villa for Sale
Author Gore Vidal is selling his villa, La Rondinaia, on the Tyrrhenian Sea in Ravello, Italy. Asking price: 14 million euros ($17 million).

Out of the News
Remember Beanie Babies? If you can stand it, Thomas S. Mulligan of the Los Angeles Times brings it all back in “Another ’90s Bad Dream.”

Something is Very Wrong Here
We’re entering a new age: an age of terra-cotta McDonald’s restaurants.
